Made with wholemeal flour, Steel cut oats*, wheat Germ, Raisins, Sultanas and Black Perle Porter in Co. Wicklow, Ireland. The recipe’s origins are rooted in Barndarrig, a village in County Wicklow.
* Steel cut oats are whole oats that are cut by steel into smaller morsels. This gives them a nuttier flavor and a pleasant chewy texture.
How to store it: ideally in a wooden or clay box, but a metal or plastic box will do.
